Interact
Perrins are members of Interact a network of construction and property business clubs throughout the United Kingdom aimed at bringing like minded experts together with a view of generating business opportunities in a social environment. Each club meets on average four times a year along with a number of national and regional events.
National Housing Federation
Perrins are subscribers to the National Housing Federation (NHF). The NHF represents 1200 independent not for profit Housing Associations in England and is the English voice of affordable housing. The mission of the NHF is to support and promote the work that Housing Associations do and to campaign for better housing and neighbourhoods.
Hertfordshire Housing Conference
Perrins is one of the sponsors of the Hertfordshire Housing Conference. Frederick Perrin is a Board Member of the company organising the conference, Hertfordshire Housing Conference Limited. The conference is an annual conference held in April and provides a forum for discussion of challenges facing the provision of affordable housing in Hertfordshire and nationally.
University of Hertfordshire
Perrins has linked up with the law faculty of the University of Hertfordshire in St Albans and each year lecturers from the University of Hertfordshire provide in-house seminars to our executive teams. The link also provides access to law seminars run by the University.
Social Housing Law Association
Perrins are members of the Social Housing Law Association (SHLA). This was formed in 2005 by a group of housing professionals and lawyers who saw the need for a forum where ideas and information could be exchanged and discussed.
St Albans Chambers of Commerce
Perrins are members of the St Albans and District Chamber of Commerce which was formed as long ago as November 1907 to further the interests of business in the area so ensuring positive growth and development.
Law Society Management Section
Perrins are members of the Law Management Section which is a specialist section of the Law Society dedicated to providing members with the best available advice, information and support on leadership and management enabling businesses to perform better and more profitably.
The Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX)
Perrins are members of ILEX which is the professional body representing about 22,000 qualified and trainee legal executives and which is recognised by the Ministry of Justice as one of the three core routes to becoming a qualified lawyer.
The Institute of Legal Cashiers and Administrators (ILCA)
Perrins are members of the ILCA which was founded as the Institute of Legal Cashiers in 1978 by a small group of cashiers working in Solicitors practice who believed there was a need to establish and maintain standards for legal book keeping.
Hertfordshire Law Society
Perrins are members of the Hertfordshire Law Society which is the professional body for Solicitors practising or living within Hertfordshire. The Society’s principal objects include the protection of the character, status, rights and interests of its members, the promotion of honourable practice among Solicitors, the consideration of questions affecting the profession at large and the promotion of legal education.

Women in Social Housing (WISH)
Perrins is a sponsor of Women in Social Housing (WISH) a unique group founded for women with careers in the affordable housing sector. Its members include women working in housing associations, local authorities, contractors, consultants, solicitors and house builders. Its aim is to address two major issues namely encouraging more women to choose careers in the affordable housing and construction sectors and addressing career progression for women already in those sectors.
North Hertfordshire Minority Ethnic Forum
Perrins is a sponsor of the North Hertfordshire Minority Ethnic Forum which is an umbrella organisation serving black and minority ethnic communities in North Hertfordshire and Stevenage. The forum provides various services to improve the quality of life of BME people. These include information, advice and guidance on housing, benefits, employment, education, training and health matters. The forum’s community resource centre at Winbush Road, Hitchin is a one stop shop where umbrella groups and members can access various skills, development courses, information advice and guidance service.
